I’m not going to lie. I’ve always been a bit skeptical of film photography. It always seemed like and excuse for people to take bad photos and say, “but hey man, THESE were shot on film…THESE shots are ART man...” Leaving me with a response of a sarcastic “neat man” 👍🏼 But with my growing passion for photography, I have indeed purchased a film camera. I bought it for a few reasons A) to get some dope ass vintage shots of my friends and me B) they’re cheap, worry free, easy for on the go shooting and make for a badass accessory C) To gain a deeper appreciation for photography as one of my newly found favorite ways to express myself. Not going all anti-digital on y’all, but there’s just nothing cooler than a tangible film photograph in my opinion. Especially ones that’s managed to stand the test of time. I can’t wait to develop my first roll and make personal memories that I can pass on to my kids one day.
