I'm delighted to say that I've bought my own forgotten UK car, a 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX-S. I've shown this model once before, albeit in black, and with just 275 of this model sold in the UK it's only the second one I've ever seen. This will be my "fun" car that I'll run alongside my much more mainstream 2011 Mercedes C350. There are a few jobs to do to get it how I want it, including removing all the stickers, but otherwise it's in great shape for 10 years old and 65k miles.
And the #subaruimpreza handled it’s first snow of the season like a champ. Thumbs up for the RE980s on winter performance. We had a blast tonight and video of the adventure will be up soon. Time to catch some Z’s 😴
It's seems like only yesterday that these rally-bred monsters were the talk of the town and the subject of great desire by petrolheads the world over. Which of the 2003/2004 Subaru Impreza WRX STI or Mitsubishi Lancer Evo do you think has aged the best? Do they still excite? Are they already modern classics?
