This is me. This is why I create "art." If you dont want to read a long thing then I will summarize...I create art because I have to. I create "art that kids can do" because I need to. Also, if it is easy, then please post your artwork. Every painting that I post is not just a bunch of random designs and colors. They are self doubt, fear of judgment, fear of failure, the fear of letting go and just doing. With every brushstroke, with every scribble, with every single touch of any kind of a canvas comes from my mind. It is recorded in time. Will people like it? Will someone buy it? What does this reveal about myself? This is me. This is the always smiling face. This is the person who is always willing to give advice no matter how bad he is hurting. This is the person who could be the smartest person in the room, but still thinks he has to do more. This is the face or standing outside of line at the grocery store because his card was declined because he has money going out every month 16 different ways because if someone has power and can take advantage of you, they probably will. This is the person who is always pushing towards success only to hit into a brick wall that shoves him back to the starting line. This is the person who will not give up because i want to be the best person I can be, the best husband I can be, the best artist I can be, the best (fill in with career choice here). This is me. So when you see my art. Do not just look at it. Experience it. Connect with it. What are you going through? Whatever it is, you are not alone. No matter the smiling face or positivity, you are not alone. Know the struggle that goes into each piece. When you do, then you will know why I do what I do. If this hits home and if you are already a fan of my art. Please share and get my story out. I feel that I have alot to offer as an artist. Even though I do not do it full time, every painting comes from an emotion or experience that cannot be explained any other way but through color, line, and texture. From my head to canvas, recorded forever. If you read this. Thank you! If you support my art, thank you!
