#Repost@marilenapanagiotopoulou2017 • • • • • When I saw “Les Misérables” in London in the winter of 1987, I called Mario Frangoulis @mariofrangoulis who was still in Guildhall Drama School and told him “your first professional part will be Marius”. A year later, on December 5th 1988, I cried for three hours straight watching him perform this role as no-one else ever did or ever will. This photo of the show’s finale, taken by our friend star photographer Michael le Poer Trench is my most precious possession and it has been my companion throughout my several moves of countries and homes, for it represents Mario’s pure love towards me and it’s a source of great power and inspiration. The dedication is a lyric from the show: “To love another person is to see the face of God”. So PROUD of you Mario for your 30th career anniversary and for the kind of Artist and Man that you are. Thank you for everything you have given me: I would be a very different person if I hadn’t met you and I am so grateful to the universe for bringing you to me so early in life . . .
