In Leviticus 23, when God gave us His Appointed Times, the first Appointed Time He mentioned is the Sabbath. Hmm! The Sabbath...Imagine that. Did you know the Sabbath was an Appointed Time?
For those that don’t know, an Appointed Time is a set time period for us to meet with God. They also symbolize set Days when He reconciles man to Himself.
Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits is when God reconciled us back to Him through His Son Jesus’ death and resurrection.
Shavuot (Pentecost) is when God gave us His Holy Spirit
Trumpets, Atonement, Tabernacles is when Jesus comes back to get us, Judgment and the thousand year reign.
The Sabbath represents when we will live with Him in eternity.
The Appointed Times are God letting His people know His plan.
Would God change His Appointed Times? Days that were set in place from the beginning? No! Absolutely Not.
My Sunday worshiping friends, you should know that the Sabbath was changed by the Roman Constantine...not God. This man felt himself to be so important, that he was able to change what God had ordained as a Holy, Set Apart Day.
I don’t care what a man who calls himself a pastor, father, reverend, apostle, etc says! I only care what God, the Creator says.
By God’s instructions, the Sabbath is from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown. Man cannot change it.
Choose this day whom you will follow? God or man.
