Been feelin a bit under the weather so here’s the smoothie I make when I’m tryin to kick some sickness ass!
🌱1/2 frozen banana
🌱Water
🌱Ice
🌱1 scoop greens powder (@amazinggrass is my faveee)
🌱1 tbsp chia seeds
🌱1/2 tsp spirulina (this is a VERY acquired taste so start small but it’s very high in vitamin C)
🌱1 tsp maca powder
Blend Away Baby!
Make sure to add some sort of either maple syrup, agave, honey, rice malt or half a banana to add sweetness!! And feel better if you’re feelin what’s going around 💜

It might be getting cooler (read cold and rainy AF) but honestly I enjoy breakfast smoothies all year round 😉. My go to Green Plant Powered Smoothie (I mix and match the vitamins/minerals/adaptogens but the base stays the same):

1 frozen banana
Handful frozen strawberries
1/4 frozen avocado
2 handfuls spinach
1 slice of lemon
1 tbsp hemp seeds @manitobaharvest
1 Brazil nut (selenium for the day)
1 tsp unflavoured liquid fish oil supplement (can't taste)
1 scoop vegan protein powder (@bodyenergyclub clean vegan)
250 ml water

Add ins (I switch these up):

》Spirulina powder @organikahealth
》Lion's mane tincture @mushroomrevival

Spinach is one of my staple veggies that I always have around and find myself most often #veggieloading with. Delicious raw, sautéed or blended into a baked good, spinach is surprisingly versatile and also packs some serious nutrients that we all can benefit from having more of in our life. In fact, one cup of cooked spinach contains has exceptionally high levels of vitamins K and A. This leafy green veggie also contains high percentages of the daily values of other vitamins and minerals, like:

Folate
Magnesium
Iron
Vitamin B2

Vitamin B6
Vitamin E
Calcium
Potassium
Vitamin C .

It is an awesome sauce veggie to add to promote healthy skin, strengthening our bones and for supporting our immune system. .

For the mango layer:

1/2 cup frozen mango
1/2 cup orange juice, plus more if needed to blend
1/2 scoop Simply Vanilla Protein & Kale
For the strawberry layer:

1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup orange juice, plus more if needed to blend
1/2 scoop Simply Vanilla Protein & Kale
🔥🔥Directions🔥🔥
Place all of the Mango Layer ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth. Remove to a glass and set aside.
Place all of the Strawberry Layer ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth.
Pour smoothie into a new glass, alternating the mango mixture and the strawberry mixture to create layers of flavor!
For a mango strawberry protein smoothie:
