My happiest childhood memories are of playing in the woods. My parents taught us how to behave safely in the outdoors, but even so my brother broke both his arms when we played tag in the treetops. After every adventure I showed off my new scars and didn’t care when people told me that they don’t look pretty on a girl. Today I still think of the outdoors as a playground; I still love climbing trees and I think it’s about time I got a new scar ;)
While the whole lot of Switzerland is complaining about the heat, all you gotta do is climb a few thousand meters of elevation for a rewarding swim in an ice cold mountain lake. This one is especially refreshing because it consists of glacial meltwater!
Good morning friends, it’s been a while! I’ve been busy planning my future: there are many adventures ahead — some that I dreamt of for a while, and some that I never dared to dream of. I’m looking forward to sharing them with you. Stay tuned!
I think this was one of the most overwhelming experiences of my life. I was afraid not only for him to fall down (yeah, I've been told this guy called Mat is crazily adventurous) but because at this very moment, I realized how small we are.
Thanks again to @swissinstameet, @pizolbahnen and @migros for making this possible. I was really happy to finally have my first hike and what a better way than with a bunch of experienced adventure and landscape photographers. I'll be sharing some impressions of this day tonight on my stories.
