🚨Mark Ruffalo Was Scared Ragnarok Would Ruin Hulk & Thor🚨 -
During an appearance at Ace Comic-Con in Chicago over the weekend, Hemsworth recalled one particular moment while filming Ragnarok when Ruffalo asked him if they're "destroying these characters." Tessa Thompson, who debuted Valkyrie in the film, even started doubting herself upon overhearing the conversation. “I remember Mark Ruffalo looking at me and saying, ‘Are we wrecking this movie? Are we destroying these characters?’ Tessa was like, ‘What am I apart of? What am I doing,'” Hemsworth shared. As fans know, all turned out to be great as Ragnarok was a both a critical and commercial success. Most importantly, it started Thor's renaissance in the MCU, setting up his arc in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Now, he's enjoying the same acclaim as his fellow MCU founding heroes like Tony Stark aka Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Steve Rogers aka Captain America (Chris Evans). On top of that, he's also the only one so far whose Marvel sub-franchise is going for four movies. While the Hulk's arc wasn't as well-planned and well-executed like his Avenger pal's following Waititi's film, the threequel did borrow some elements of Planet Hulk, and it was some of the most fun bits from the movie. With both Thor and Hulk still existing in the MCU, their stories will more likely still continue in some capacity. As previously mentioned, the God of Thunder is up for another solo movie following Thor: Ragnarok which will also be directed by Waititi - Thor: Love and Thunder. It's difficult to gauge what it will be about just based on the title, but it will bring back Natalie Portman's Jane Foster who becomes Mighty Thor. Meanwhile, with a She-Hulk Disney+ series in the works, fans are hoping to see Ruffalo's Professor Hulk get involved with that one way or another.
