Of all the wonderful things we can do to take care of ourselves I think the simplest is staying hydrated! I know so many people who struggle with getting enough water in every day and I too used to struggle with my water intake before realizing all of the many benefits that staying hydrated would do for my body. After personally feeling much better in a lot of areas because I was drinking my proper amount of water, I decided to do some hunting and see what other benefits there might be. And boy was I was surprised! **Also, if you’re wondering how much water you should be drinking in a day the rule of thumb is to take your weight, divide it in half and that is how many ounces of water you should be consuming everyday! I know that might sound like a lot but remember our bodies are 70% water and we need to constantly be replenishing that!** Here are the 10 benefits of staying hydrated that stuck out to me the most!
1.Weight Loss 👙- Drinking water instead of soda or sugary juices will quench your thirst—minus the excess calories and plus all the benefits of helping your body flush out the byproducts of the fat and other toxins.
2.Skin Elasticity🥰-Drinking water keeps your skin moist, supple, and elastic—thus lessening your risk of developing dry issues like dermatitis, aging skin, and infection.
