This morning, I had to catch myself because I’d been hard on myself the last few months trying to lose these last 10 pounds. You know how we look in the mirror and we begin to criticize ourselves and our bodies? You look at your stomach...turn to the side and look at your shoulders, back, and thighs...and start saying negative things.
But this morning I stopped. I said, “Jas, your body carried and birthed two amazing souls. Your legs have helped you travel miles and miles. Stop beating yourself up. I love you, Jas.” And I felt totally different. 📚📚📚📚📚📚📚
So at 35, I’m learning to fully embrace me. And I also accepted that I’m not going to workout just for a body that looks good...but I actually want to be healthy. Healthy in thought, healthy in emotion, healthy in spirit, healthy in body. 📚📚📚📚📚📚
