Photo by @MichaelGeorge | If you take the bus a short trip outside of Florence, Italy, you’ll find a gorgeous little village called Fiesole that sits high on a hill. From there grab a bottle of wine, sit along the stone wall, and watch the sunset. Not only will you get a great view of Florence, but you’ll also spy villas like this one glowing in the evening light. It is one of the most romantic moments I’ve had in my life. #fiesole #italy #florence #sunset

Photo by @iantehphotography | I love this scene of children gleefully jumping into the water by the beach at St. Malo. The city is a walled port in Brittany, in northwestern France, on the English Channel. I was working on a story about the historical aspects of this province. In the past, it was notorious for privateering; today the city is a major tourist destination. #stmalo #summer #swimming

Every summer in Ibiza, Spain, visitor records are exceeded. More and more houses are built on the edges of ravines, more and more hotels are devouring the coast to meet the tourist demand of the island. I could continue to enumerate hundreds of problems derived from the tourist overcrowding, not only on land but also at sea, with boats anchoring in Posidonia meadows, nightclubs where besides the noise pollution, the dumping of garbage into the sea is added. In this photo, I show you the Comte Beach, a place that in the summer months is filled with boats from the shore to the horizon, where luxury houses skipping the law of coasts border the coastal area to create your own private piers. #YourShotPhotographer

#followmeto Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto with @natalyosmann. It is famous for its thousands of torii gates. Inari is known as the god of foxes, called kitsune, in Japanese mythology. Foxes are thought to be his messengers. Kitsunes are said to have a variety of powers and abilities. They range from shapeshifting, possession, illusions.
