Whenever they’re in womb order... they sleep like babies. Too bad trying that at night would mean breaking all the safe sleeping rules😩 Looking down at them makes me almost forget this past week. This morning has been full of baby snuggles, smiles and long naps which is a WELCOME change after the hell week Ben and I had. We never slept more than an hour and 50 mins straight, he worked this week including an event yesterday, the girls had doctor’s visits and more. It was a VERY HARD week. We burned the candle at both ends and at times were like ships passing in the night. Thank God for our friends and family who have been filling the gaps by cooking for us, doing laundry, feeding babies, sending gift cards, diapers (and wine) and praying for us from afar. We are SO appreciative. Last night my mom, mother-in-law and big sister watched them so Ben and I could go on a date night to celebrate our dear friend’s birthday. It was our first time out together since they came home! Today, I’m soaking up all the sleepy baby smells and thanking God that the post vaccine/growth spurt week from hell is OVER🙌🏽😭
How long did it take you to go out after your little one/s were born?? What gets you through the REALLY tough weeks??
