Time for Tuesday Tips!
For the upcoming weeks, we will be focusing on a checklist for first-time home buyers
The first thing on your check list is having an idea of what kind of neighborhood you want. Environment: Do you want to live in a city? County? Suburbs? Also, keep in mind weather and climate for your future neighborhood!
Private Communities: Private communities are very popular, but so is living outside of them! Look at both and see which is right for you!
Schools: Are there different options, or is there only one school in the area?
Crime Rate: What were the past crimes in the area? How often does crime appear? Neighborhood- Flavor: Pick a home in an area that has activities you would like to do on weekends! Outdoorsy type? Pick an area with lots of trails! Hipster? Pick somewhere with a cat cafe!
Hot Spots: Figure out before you move, where all the supermarkets, casual restaurants, gyms, parks, and medical centers are!
Time-Travel: Visit your future neighborhood in the morning, afternoon, and night! Different times of day in the same neighborhood will give you a better understanding of what to expect in this new town.
