Spoilers The Sopranos if you haven’t watched the show I’d stop reading if you aren’t going to or are just not sure... I’ll let you know first off these do foreshadow further events/ you’ve been warned!
Okay so I’ve gotten into the #sopranos and I’ve loved this show even the last episode leaves you flabbergasted like Left with amazement as to what happens.. and I felt that the show did a lot of the time it was so unexpected and so different it say the bar pretty high for #television at the time.
I always noticed though in these scenes something always made the scene so much more raw and I could never put my finger on it and in these photographs above I finally seen what it was #thesopranos in some darker shadows scenes the character who murders someone they’d typically have the shadow over half of their face and it’s done in a lot of shots and angles but this particularly I’ve stuck to because thats monumental to a build up and this is what made my skin crawl. In the shadows it’s most of the time half the face and what I think that means is that it’s a certain evil that comes across them it’s death and they embody that and use it when they murder. It’s a great show and I definitely have grown fond and consistently have been rewatching scenes from it.
If you ever watch come back and tell me something different I didn’t notice. I did notice it was a lot of shadow angles but I know they didn’t always do this but either way the cinematography of the show is above par for that and this was just a nice addition to what I had found out.
