So, I did a thing.. Something I’ve been fantasized of doing for a long, long time, but only in the last year taken on as a serious goal. A lot of people, including some that are very close to me, will or already do think I’m crazy or have my head stuck in the clouds. The truth is that I’m just tired of settling for less than I am capable of having and achieving. I’m on a new path, spiritually, physically, and mentally. That path involves DOING things, not just talking and dreaming about them.
After much consideration, and more HARD work and LONG hours than you can imagine, I made the incredibly big decision to resign from my salary job - and the best job I’ve ever had - to pursue my goals for The Vintage Ladye full-time.
I know there will be times it’s not fun or easy, but I have faith in God and the universe that with an insane work ethic, business mind, and positive intentions.. I can make this thing happen.
I’m terrified, excited, and beyond ready. I pray that 10+ years from now I look back on this decision and say it was the best thing I could’ve done for myself and my boys. Also, big S/O to my mom who recently moved to the city and has not only been putting in hella hours w me, but has been my words of encouragement and support since Day 1!
