HI GUYS!!!! Here are some exercises I like to do AFTER I roll out my glute muscles on a foam roller! (VERY IMPORTANT TO ROLL OUT) They are my favorite to get your glutes activated and burning before a workout, if your just starting out I recommend without a resistance band and working up to it (you’ll really feel the difference) ••
Floor Glute Kickbacks 3x12 each leg
Monster Walks timed for 30 seconds x3
Side lunges 3x20 (work up to 20) I like to bounce off when I come up and not put my foot back on the ground until my rep is finished because it allows me to feel it more!
Glute Bridges 3x20 (work up to 20) for these once I push my hips up I like to push my thighs outward to create more resistance and when I go down I don’t let my glutes touch the floor all the way! Helps to REALLY get that burnin going!
Clamshells 3x20 (work up to 20) this burns quickly so as you can see in the video I move my hand around, so do what you have to in order to PUSH THROUGH!!♀️NO GIVING UP
Lying leg raises 3x20 (work up to 20) #juststrong#fitness#fitnessmotivation
THE STRUGGLE IS REAL!!! For those who struggle as much as we do right now doing regular pull ups, try using a resistance band to help guide you...NO MORE EXCUSES!! ♀️Without the resistance bands we both can only do 1 pull up, BUT with it we can do a full set of 3 x 8 !!! It’s not all about the physical work!! What you put into your body MATTERS, it’s not hard to change your diet once you start making small steps towards it... baby steps!!! LESS !!! This was a simple and easy meal we made today for dinner and portioned it to meet our body’s needs! (1 cut up plain sweet potato, grilled chicken breast seasoned with garlic, pepper, and parsley, and white rice (yes brown is better), and lastly plain corn and black beans mixed together) TRY AT HOME AND ENJOY!!! 🤪🤪 #juststrong#healthyfood
Hi guys!!! Here’s a little warming up for your glute/leg day that we like to do before our workouts! REPS: ••
Weight or unweighted lunges down and back once (if you have no room to go down a straight path, alternate legs standing and do 2 sets of 12) ••
Side to side leg squats 3 sets of 10 (side stepping of both legs equals one rep) ••
Alternating 180 side lunges down and back once (if you have no room to go down a straight path, only alternate once and keep repeating for 2 sets of 12) ••
Bouncing jump squats 3 sets of 10 (one bounce every time you go down) ••
