After having an interesting experience last week I felt the importance to share how to handle toxic people in your business-life. No matter their position these types are there to spoil, demotivate and if possible try to make you run away. Toxic people defy logic. Some are blissfully unaware of the negative impact that they have on those around them, and others seem to derive satisfaction from creating chaos and pushing other people's buttons. Either way, they create unnecessary complexity, strife, and worst of all stress.
I had 2 this week. 1- I was partially denied an opportunity to finally fulfill a vision that’s about 12 years old. 2- I allowed myself to abandon Holiness and said more than a few choice words to someone I care for. In both situations I still rejoice greatly. I rejoice because the denial gave me all the no’s that I need to make it right. I will definitely get it next time (Yes, I’m still striving for it) The second failure clearly let’s me know that there are some ugly things still in me that I have to cover in prayer. I am not there yet! I’m sharing this because people see the end result but rarely see the process. The process ain’t cute and is full of failures. Failures get us right. I initially thought “God just won’t let me be great!” But the truth is I am on the road to greatness and wise enough to take these lessons to heart. People may talk about you, judge you, and look down on you for your failures because they can’t appreciate YOUR process. But it’s yours. Embrace it, Learn from it and BE GREAT! ♀️♀️ #thingshappen#itsokay#dustitoffandtryagain#seaofforgetfulness#winning#failure#upsanddowns#valleymountains#fruit#process#passion#keepitmoving#TorrieChristina
Late night layers. Sometimes unexpected things happen. Particles appear out of nowhere creating an extra layer of depth and atmosphere. I love that about abstract work- the intrigue and surprise always draws me in.
