(I'm going to try a do this every week)
So, this one won't really help anyone well into their weight loss journey like me but anyone just starting out please take a photo and measure yourself now!
I joined SW when my daughter was 4 weeks old and I only have 1 photo of myself from those 4 weeks (too busy recovering from c-section and trying/failing to breastfeed) The only photos I have from before I started are while I was still pregnant which isn't a realistic comparison or from before that pregnancy which don't account for the 1st 5.5lb I put on while pregnant.
I did measure myself though, prompted by the '4 weeks to success' book I was given in my SW pack. It is nice to see another set of numbers slowing going down but not the visual difference I really want to make.
So take that photo. A real photo. One you would normally delete straight away. Not one from a flattering angle or wearing something slimming. A true candid photo. Then you will have a visual representation of exactly how much effort you have put into your weight loss!

Thought for Thursday
Where do I start...I have so many thoughts...
•The first being super exciting! today we are officially #37weekspregnant which means we are full term and our little princess can literally come along anytime....but I've asked her to stay put so we can get our bathroom finished
•Life has been crazy over the last few months...super grateful we are able to renovate our house but being heavily pregnant and going through all these renos has been stressful to say the least, but super exciting as well.
•I had to say goodbye to my beautiful gran which is something I am still coming to terms with
•Our pregnancy has been a roller coaster of emotions and definitely not the easiest ride and a lot of things we didn't expect.
I can't remember the origin of that quote, but it rang true. Once you've met someone, leave them in a better frame of mind than when you met them. Don't arse kiss. Be genuine. They will remember your sincerity. They will remember YOU!
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10 NLT #thoughtforthursday
#thoughtforthursday Pedestrian fatalities climbed to a shocking number of 6,000+ in 2016, 28 of these fatalities residing in Louisiana. Don’t be a victim twice! If you or a loved one have experienced a pedestrian accident, call Attorney Peyton Murphy to know your rights. #murphylawfirmbr#batonrougeattorney
Hey you! YES, YOU!
No matter where you're or what you're doing. Just remember this.
"Animals are such agreeable friends. They ask no questions, they pass no criticisms."
Wouldn't it be fab if everyone were as simple??
We have had a lazy morning, mostly on Oscar's favourite spot in our house...our bed! This afternoon I, killer of all plants, am going in search of another topiary tree for the pot by my front door and some pretty flowers for window boxes. I should add at this point that this will be my fourth topiary tree in five and a half years. .
When will I learn?
