“I just don’t have time” is the most commonly used self care excuse. It’s what we tell others to convince ourselves, and I mean “we” because we have all done it. Magic possessing tools have long been desirable among wishful thinkers, my favorite, Hermione Granger’s time turner, if you are not a HP fan just grip onto a time machine instead. Either way these mystical magical gadgets are hard to come by ….. unless you know where to look. I happened upon one while I was hustling for healing, and you have it too. Among the many benefits of meditation + breathwork is the ability to manipulate time, and not necessarily during the practice. The brain oxygenated thinks smarter, saving us time as we function smarter. An oxygenated body has energy and stamina, delivering the energy needed to get more done. The return on invested time is HUGE in doses of mental clarity, smart decision making, pitfall navigation, and real time prioritizing. You do have time, breathing + meditation expand the time you have. This is me speaking for the magic but truthfully one session/one class will show you what a show off breathing is, the magic will speak for itself from then on.
Yesterday I posted about the parenting challenges surrounding self care, today it is all about time excuses and I aim to wipe at least one more excuse off the table soon! @aronphotography_
