HEALTHY FRENCH TOAST RECIPE On the way to the airport to fly to Taiwan but couldn’t wait another second to share this with all of you!! Made some BOMB French toast a few days ago just using some bread, eggs and milk. Ngl, literally took me 5 minutes to cook (and maybe 10 or more to plate ) So delicious, soft, fluffy, sweet, almost like a cloud Also pretty good for you too! •
Recipe (1 serving):
- 1/2 cup milk of choice (I used almond milk) - 2 pieces of wholemeal bread (I used @gardenia brown rice and oat bread)
- 1 egg - Sprinkle of cinnamon - Greek yoghurt (optional)
- Agave syrup/maple syrup (optional)
- Fruit of choice (optional-I used mango!) Beat milk, egg, and cinnamon together in a bowl.
Soak bread in egg mixture, ~ 1 minute on each side.
Heat up pan with coconut oil/butter. Place bread onto pan, flipping when brown/slightly crispy.
Repeat, then eat with your favorite toppings!! Remember to tag me if you make this, I would love to see your creations
