Restaurant Row - restaurants located on King West between John and Peter Streets – continues to be plagued by problems. Many blame the King Street Pilot project for the severe decrease in customers.
So ten King West restaurants got together and launched a new program this week to attract diners: #7After7 - daily drink and appetizer specials ($7 ea.) available starting at 7pm.
Participating restaurants include:
Note: @districteatery will be participating as of Monday, February 11.
Each establishment is offering a unique menu. For example, at Kit Kat Italian Bar & Grill you can dig into Grilled Wild Mushroom Salad and Braised Osso Buco, while sipping on Old Fashioneds and Cuba Libres. N’Awlins Jazz Bar has Southern fare - Shrimp Creole and Gumbo, for instance - alongside fresh cocktails. In the mood for Indian? Nosh on Samosas and Saag Paneer at Dhaba.
Participating restaurants have a ‘7 After 7’ ice sculpture out front (since the promotion is set to last until at least July, this is likely temporary).
Dining out AND saving money AND supporting local businesses? See you on King West.
