A little bit about myself, Sam:
In September 2017 we found out I was pregnant! (First pic was two days before I found out). I weighed about 185 at the time and had just started weight lifting a bit with the hubs but stopped quickly afterwards for fear of injury of myself and the small one. I worked out maybe 3 times my entire pregnancy and because of that I gained about 48 pounds (I was about 233 when i gave birth). After I had our beautiful baby girl, I lost about 20 pounds. While being on my baby leave from work, I managed to gain 10 of that back. So I was about 220 in September 2017. I was the biggest I’d ever been and started to feel trapped in my own body. It seemed like as my baby was getting bigger, I was as well. Eating became a big comfort for me! It wasn’t until right after my daughters first birthday that I was like “okay! Enough is enough!”. The last picture in this is this is was a big eye opener for me and that’s when I said I needed to start trying to live a better life! So with my husbands help, we started to slowly start getting back in the groove of working out again and finding time! Which has been the biggest challenge since we have a small one now.
I don’t want anyone to read this and be like “omg she’s so motivational and has her life figure out” because I definitely do NOT! I struggle everyday with trying to keep the motivation to workout. I don’t actually enjoy working out, but I’m really hoping to start liking it as I get stronger.
My current goals are:
-To get to 200 pounds
-To run a 5k without stopping
We will see where it goes!
