Throwback to some summer shreds☀️
Working on adding quality size to this frame for next year. So I’ve been focusing on the #majorkeys to bulking:
🔑REAL CALORIE SURPLUS
-You have to make sure your taking in around 500 extra calories a week than your burning to be gaining around 1lb per week.
🔑STICKING TO MACROS 90%
-If you don’t track and measure your your food you’re going to be off. I would underest by quite a bit most days if I didn’t measure most of my meals out. I do sneak in some calorie dense food here and there because #bulklife
🔑LIFT HEAVY AND OFTEN
-I have my split set up to hit everything twice a week. I start each day with a couple heavy, compound movements and then finish out with higher rep work. Everything is being progressively overloaded to ensure I’m make the muscle grow.
-This is where I need to really put my focus because my sleep is probably not the best quality with my schedule. But muscle isn’t built in the gym, it’s built in your sleep and in the kitchen.
Are you bulking right now too? If so what’s your goal weight by the end of things? I’m shooting for 170 when it’s time to start prep.
