➕HEAL YOURSELF. A good sign of healing is when the thought of the experience or the people that hurt you, no longer upsets or angers you.
When hurtful events happen in your life, you can only regain control of your life by changing how you view the event. Everything else will exhaust you and leave you powerless + out of control.
So many remain focused on being victimized, and their attention remains centered on the situation; through the words they speak + through replaying the scenarios in their mind, thus keeping it active in their vibration as the very day it happened.
We can let go of suffering by healing + focusing on the brighter side of things. When we heal from the past, nothing has changed except the MEANING we have re-attached to the experience. The event still happened, and the person still exists, but we have made peace with it by looking at it 👁 through a new perspective.
You have let go of the IDEA 💭 that hurt you, & now hold onto a thought that enables you to move forward with your life.
Start making a habit of consciously choosing your reactions. When a thought pops into your mind about a situation, pause and ask yourself if it’s helpful in going forward on your journey. If it isn’t, change your focus. We can begin to unlearn old patterns of thinking, open our hearts, lead with love & compassion [versus justifying, holding on to bitterness + anger & getting worked up...] & accept new ways!
The way others treat you is their business; how you treat yourself + heal is YOURS. Your purpose in life is to awaken your authentic self. The most important relationship you have is the relationship with yourself.❤️
