You set goals and have dreams you want to fulfill. You are excited about life and what you want your life to be. You start the work to make your dreams a reality. Then you run into roadblocks.

Some see obstacles as an opportunity to grow. Others see obstacles as threats. Still others see obstacles as meaning they cannot succeed.
Your view of barriers to achieving your goals affects how you react.

Either your thoughts or your emotions or both can lead you to stop working on your goals. You lose your passion. Perhaps you become resigned and no longer think about your goals or what's important to you. Your reactions to obstacles stopped you from trying.

Achieving most goals means overcoming obstacles. That's normal and part of the process. So don’t give up on the first try, or the second, or the third. It can take a little longer than you might want, but just keep holding on, you will see that in the end your determination will satisfy you.y

I used to be Obese, almost did the lap band, but didn’t. luckily, I lost 90lbs and I did on my own. Low carb lifestyle and intermittent fasting.

HAHAHA quick hello cause your girl gone 🦆 up 😂 currently writing an essay which is due tomorrow so feeling kinda stressed 👌🏻 it’s fine it’s an okay essay to write just gotta get going and get the work done 💪🏻 some advice ❌ DONT LEAVE AN ESSAY TILL LAST MINUTE, YOULL REGRET IT 🙃❌ anyway I did a mini review today on my story of those fancy sponges I got from my friend which are a basics a dupe for @realtechniques have a click and check it out I’ll also leave a highlight on my page as im thinking of doing more mini reviews like that 💕

Progress update from competition prep client @laurarobinson360 👌🏼

I’ve been working with Laura since July she’s 10 weeks out from her first competition and clearly making some incredible progress.
.
Laura has learned how to track the targets I’ve set and uses a flexible approach to her nutrition, something I encourage with all my clients to help them stay adherent, this ensuring she achieves week in week out!
.
Since July it’s been an 80/20 split in food choices, January to date it’s moved to a 90/10 and this is how I like to keep it until approx 4 weeks out from the show - depending on progress.
.
Dieting has such an impact on your mind, even more so for comp prep, it’s so important to manage this as well as progressing physically - but I’ll never compromise health of the mind over abs - and chicken brown rice & green beans just isn’t an option for me even for comp prep as the aftermath is just not worth it.
.
You can achieve the stage condition with a little bit of flexibility and therefore come out the other end a hell of a lot more educated and without intolerances, bad relationship with foods which is very apparent these days - and unnecessary!

Big shout out to @elitefurlong whose been coaching & push Laura through her structured programs since the start of her prep (& coached her for a long time previously)
