I’m not sure how I got there- all roads, they lead me here.
Grayson got to wear water shoes for the first time this afternoon. We found a little river trail in Palo Duro Canyon called Paseo Del Río and cooled off in the water for a while. The water was really warm and he has fun playing in the water for the first time! .
We also saw ginormous wild turkeys, deer along the creek, then deer again and a little bambi doe with her momma. It was frolicking around by the road. So so cute!!
It was a fun day! We are beat and have a long travel day tomorrow. Grayson doesn’t sleep through the night anymore, and has been waking up on average 2-3 times a night for at least a few months...and it’s starting to hit us hardddd. Let’s hope he sleeps through the night tonight so we don’t have to make him cry it out. (We know it will most likely happen so I’m bracing myself)
Tomorrow we are headed to Taos, NM before having our Colorado adventures!! Does anyone have cool places in Taos to go to fun places to stop on the way??
Anyone else struggle to eat healthy while traveling? We recently found a protein bar that makes it so much easier! @wellabar makes these organic nut-based protein bars that taste amazing! Trust us when we say that because we have basically tried all of the protein bars out there. After hiking for 6 hours from Supai to the Grand Canyon, it was the first thing I wanted to eat. You can find them at Walmart, Central Market, and HEB!! Give it a try and tell us how you like them! Our favorite is the hazelnut cacao!

I've heard many mixed things about Ubud, I had to check it out for myself. I now understand why people call this the true cultural heart of Bali. Surrounded by beautiful green seas of rice fields, there is something about this gorgeous village that forces you to slow down and look at things differently. I can't wait to see what else Ubud has to offer.

It's funny how much travelling can change you. At 20 years old I left Melbourne, moved across the other side of the world to the UK to start a new life on my own. It wasn't until I returned home I had realised how much I changed, how much little things don't bother me because there are bigger problems in the world. Now at 25, I'm currently living in Asia for the foreseeable future with @thecamwilliams working on our laptops so we can work anywhere in the world.
