A month ago, after Fallen of Singapore: Kent Ridge Trail, Mdm Soko Jampasri, a Japanese War Enthusiast, decided to share the Japanese army view of the invasion of Singapore.
So she request to held an event for the sharing session. So me and Temasek Rural Exploring Enthusiasts crew assist of co-ordinating and location of the events while Stella Clare Wee-Goh and her Pasir Panjang Heritage Guides assist for logistic and accomodation.
So we decided to held at Japanese Cemetary Park because most of the soldiers graves and monument were placed there.
Its a good to experience to listen for the 1st time, to listen from the Japanese side of the war. Mdm Soko-san never fail to share the resources such as maps, diary, news article all from Japanese archives and library.
Thank you Mdm Sokosan for coming all the way from Bangkok to share with us
Thank you to my fellow TREE crews for the assist
Thank you Pasir Panjang Guides for the taking care of her and equipment
Thank you SP Snapshot for the official phototaking
Thank you everyone for coming. Regardless of race and nationality. We as one, enjoy listening to history.
