Fun times at the drive-in last night with just the boy. We left the baby at home with Nonna & Opa ;) This was the part where T-Rex was chasing us and our faces when we saw him 🦖 And there was also a Dracula 🧛🏻♂️ in the sky, any guesses what movies we saw ;)
Shooting more accuracy style drills today then strong and support side shooting with the #trexarms printable targets and my smaller #shootsteeldotcom targets. Managed to shoot the 300 rounds I loaded yesterday in a hour
Rest day vibes: arms that barely function, lazy (but nutrient dense) lunch, perusing the aisles of @target & taking a nap

Capacity or Concealability? What is priority to you? When it comes down to it, I always leave the house with my @glockinc 19 or my full size @smithwessoncorp M2.0 as well as a spare magazine. I find with my @trexarms sidecar I get easy concealment even with a full size gun. AIWB is king!

I had a few sub 4.0 runs at the plate rack last night. Last fall I was in the 4.6 range before the plate rack went into hibernation under 4 feet of snow.
I talked to this rad OG FI/ retired Trooper/ Gunsite-cult fanatic this afternoon and he said the trick to smoking the plate rack is seeing the front sight crisply and clearly before each hit. I was always equally focused on the plates, but the trick helped.

Before I even opened my eyes this morning, I felt the soreness. I can barely move my arms today! 🦖 I guess that’s what happens when you do more than 500 upper-body reps in two days. Those of you who started the same new workout program know what I’m talking about. Wowzers!
Thank goodness today is a recovery day. I don’t think I’ve ever had one in the middle of the week, but I am thankful for it!!! Today, I plan on using my foam roller & stretch it all out and eat more protein. Tomorrow, I’ll remember to drink a lot more water & drink my post-workout recovery shake!
The “Red Dot Rack” gained interest on the old account so here it is again. At the time, I was using a #vickerstactical extended slide release on my #glock19 which usually caused me to not achieve slide lock. Mainly due to high #grip (Insert the immediate action comments) Anyways, this can be a quicker way to get your pistol back into the fight without the use of the slingshot or reaching to the front of the slide to rack. I would only recommend using this method if you have a #reddot as the latter can be painful... I have switched back to the stock slide release btw.

Day 2 of #liift4 done and I can barely lift my arms!! Tomorrow is supposed to be rest day but we leave for California on Thursday so I am going to save my rest days for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday . That way I can enjoy Amandas bachelorette party!!

Some snapshots of my day!
1. Super grateful for my husband grabbing this sweet photo with Makayla when we got home from work and plunked ourselves down right on the front lawn to play and be together.
2. I also love every minute of our Tuesday night coaching calls. A quick power call to set our intentions for the week and make sure we are helping as many people as possible. Always even better when one of our kids makes a cameo appearance and sneaks over to shut the computer off mid-sentence!
3. Day two of my new workout program and I’m so in love! Today was all weights. Back and biceps. My arms were shaking so bad afterwards I felt like a T-Rex who had little mini arms and couldn’t reach up more than two inches. .
Now time to rest up and repeat tomorrow!
