Some days, your #run just comes together. 15.25 miles, with 8x #HarlemHill loops (11.2 miles of Harlem Hill, with 1,007 feet of climbing). Stayed mostly in high zone 2, very low zone 3, and it felt great. Also great seeing @nrehman And @suzarella417 out there, doing work! Tried out @maurten_official for the first time, and absolutely loved it! Also ran in my @nike Vaporfly 4% and could barely keep up with my legs. My legs definitely were running 5:00/miles, while the rest of my body followed 2+ minutes later. Slowly but surely, my speed and endurance are coming back!

I figured... there is no point hoping for a PB...I haven't been training well and I am wayyyyy heavier than when I was performing at good performance times that I was happy with. Tomorrow, my goal is to finish and add to my medal collection. If I don't finish, I will get a hell of a workout that will be deserving of more meatballs, pizza and hot wings.
This is my effort in learning that life comes at you. You can choose to let your plans crash and burn and not turn up for the show.

Managed to take my first podium in a European cup, today in Bucharest. #3place
Had an ok swim in the front and found my self in a 6 man breakaway... Pulled the pack for 95% of the bike, and we got in transition with a 10seconds lead over the chase pack.. After that it was all about surviving...
Well, ladies and gents...I did my first ever triathlon race, today, and let me tell you - it was AWESOME! 🤩
A few things I could improve for my next race are probably to become a better cyclist, and just give more of myself during the run. Otherwise, I’m pretty pleased with my first ever. Now, time to eat, sleep, rinse and repeat for the remainder of the day.

I am very excited to be racing Cardiff sprint triathlon tomorrow! It will be my first draft legal triathlon ever in fact it will be my first triathlon this season! Not exactly what I was hoping but I’m going to roll with it and see how it goes. My prep has been less than ideal with all of the injuries and overtime at work! Just gotta get out there, go as hard as I can and hopefully have something to celebrate afterwards! Best of luck to anyone else racing tomorrow! ♂️ ♂️ #godisgood
