Shortly after inviting THE WHOLE WORLD to attend her wedding (seriously, the link to the application is in my bio) which—like Meghan and Harry’s—will take place in St. George’s Chapel, Princess Eugenie made another homage to the Duchess of Sussex.
Yep, Beatrice wore the exact same Aquazzura stilettos Meghan wore in her engagement photos (and on her wedding day, with the soles painted blue) for Nelson Mandela’s 100th birthday celebrations last night. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It shouldn’t surprise anyone that these two are sharing shoe tips, though. Jack and Eugenie are actual, literal next-door-neighbors with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. (I like to imagine them borrowing cups of sugar from each other or sharing a chat over glasses of wine on their chaises longues.) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The style is the Aquazzura Matilde Criss-Cross Suede Pump (available at varying prices from multiple retailers). Initially, thought the lacing was different, but Eugenie just tied hers in a bow at the back, whereas Meghan simply doubled the cross in front. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The emerald green frock Eugenie chose (designer unknown) is the same one she wore to the Queen’s birthday celebration, Trooping the Colour. See both looks for yourself, then click over (if you haven’t already) to the royal website to apply for an enviable view of a real princess starting off on her royal procession.
