Wrist Wednesday today. Adding wrists to hamstrings 💪 I love combos that save me time. We forget wrists and it's not okay because they work hard all day (think typing) and they absorb too much pressure especially if you're doing yoga or push-ups or weight lifting. So add some wrist stretch to your daily routine!
... I got to go I have the last yoga online class of the year. I'll try and go LIVE tomorrow on IG stories to start the day together with you again.

🍟Stop eating when full.

🍟This is where I always got into trouble. If I had taken this advice during my teenage years I would have.. no no. I would still be obese. But perhaps I wouldn't have crossed over to morbidly obese territory.

🍟"Stop eating when you're full." I've actually heard that so many times growing up that it feels a bit cliche. I remember thinking once during my morbidly obese days, "Right, so if I just stop eating when I feel full I'm gonna lose weight? What a joke."

🍟Funny thing is, for my case I think that's the advice would have stood true.

🍟A while back I observed how quickly I felt full. To my surprise, it didn't take a lot food for me to start feeling full. It's just I always want to push it to the extreme, and feel that ultimate stuffed feeling that gets me in trouble.

🍟I'm usually decently satisfied and full off of a normal meal. Say a McDonalds meal, burger, fries and coke. I feel good off of that. Where I get in trouble is when I still go for the nuggets, and the sundae, and maybe double up on the fries cos it's so good with ketchup.

🍟If I replaced the coke with water, a burger and fries is around 700kcal at best. 3 meals a day that's only 2100kcal. That's around my current TDEE -50kg lighter than before. I'm sure my TDEE was higher during my morbidly obese days. Which would have meant if I stopped at full, and kept it up consistently. There was a good chance I would have just maintained or lost weight.

🍟"Stop eating when you're full" I feel is a great gauge to get a super rough idea of how much you've ate without any calculations. Good old natural instinct. Sure it's inaccurate, but it's a good warning sign "Hey, you're full buddy. You sure you still gonna go for ice cream?"

🍟Of course, this would mean you have to be 100% honest. I know I struggle with that. A lot of times I know I'm full, but somehow I'll convince myself 'one more bite' because I'm not REALLY full. It's.. it's really a train wreck. I think I still have the tendency to do that if I"m not careful.

Merry Christmas to me!!! 🎄 🎁 Santa 🎅 came early and now I’m juicing. 🤪 Has anyone tried this drinking celery juice everyday as a detox? I hear it’s supposed to help reduce oxidative stress as well as inflammation. Anyone feel better after drinking it? I’m curious about your personal experiences if you’ve tried it.
FYI...tried yesterday in my Ninja blender...pain in the tush!! The juicer is soooo much easier.
