Мало кто знает, что песенка «В лесу родилась ёлочка» совсем не народная. Её текст сочинила в 1903 году Раиса Адамовна Кудашева- учитель, библиотекарь и поэт. Тогда ей было 25 лет.Стихотворение «Ёлка» было опубликовано в рождественском номере детского журнала «Малютка». А музыку к этой песенке сочинил композитор-любитель Леонид Карлович Бекман, который сочинил эту песенку для своей дочери. В 1906 году «Елочка» вошла в сборник «Верочкины песенки»... При советской власти Раиса Адамовна как-то попросилась в Союз писателей, которым тогда правил Фадеев. Когда она пришла к нему в кабинет, он поинтересовался, какие у неё есть изданные книги, а она ответила, что, в общем, никаких, но очень хочется в союз, потому что паёк и т.п., а на жизнь бедной женщине зарабатывать тяжело. Фадеев строго спросил: «Ну, Вы вообще что-нибудь хоть написали?» «Да так, – промолвила Раиса Кудашева, – один стишок…» И начала читать: «В лесу родилась ёлочка…». «Так это вы написали?» – закричал Фадеев. И стал вспоминать, где это было напечатано и как он первый раз прочитал эти стихи и плакал, когда дошел до последних строчек: «Срубил он нашу елочку под самый корешок». Так Раису Кудашеву приняли в Союз писателей. Александр Фадеева однажды сказал: "Ее стихи имеют такую популярность, которая нашим поэтам и не снилась"...
