For this Friday flashback I thought it was time I tell my “origin story” of how I started riding later in life, and the impact the photos in this little series have had on me.
Part 1 of 4: The 41 year old learner..... I always wanted to ride from my late teens, but between no spare money when young, pumping heaps of money into cars, and starting a business in my mid 20’s the thought of riding was put on hold.
Fast forward to 2017 and my life was about to change drastically. The industry I had worked in for 20 years was changing for the worst, and it was time for a career change.
It’s funny how life has a way of working out, the thought of buying a toy had crept into my head, a motorbike, 2 wheels..... and this is also what I needed for my new work, a bike license.
Timing could not have been better, this CRF250L was my brother-in-law’s and he was ready to sell it. 60,000km old and in immaculate condition, this is how I would learn to ride....... To be continued in the next post. See you again very soon. ❤️🏍👍
