What’s grown challenging sometimes now is reminding people where I’ve been!! ⚡️Flashback to two years ago. I gained more weight then I’ve ever gained in my life with my second pregnancy. My emotions were out of control. 😭 Although I went through some of the motions, I struggled with remembering my purpose. After my son was born, I walked to and from the library 📚 and the park 🏃🏽♀️at least three times a week (one mile, one way), and the weightloss was at a plateau. More importantly, I was still not myself in my head or my heart.
A doctor finally ran labs and found that my thyroid numbers were off the charts. I took meds for a bit and felt even more terrible. A nutrition friend of mine led me to a book and to an anti-inflammatory focus. After 28 days of that, I was ready to get past my pride and tell my beautiful mama coach (I had been watching for almost a YEAR) that I was interested in what she was doing.
I signed up in August of 2017, and here I am. 🙋🏻♀️ Controlling my Hashimotos without medicine (with the blessing of my endocrinologist), helping amazing women rid the world of preventable illness, and remembering my purpose. ➡️ I want to have energy, ability, confidence, and strength to be better available to my God, family, and community—in that order. 🙌🏽 I want to educate and motivate women to strive toward optimal health for the sake of their ministries and world. I want to give God all of the glory for all of the food and fitness that I believed He planned for us to experience all along!
Our team finished up a live sneak peek tonight that’s still up and running. If you want to check it out, let me know. No pills or wraps or cutting out food groups over here. Just balanced nutrition, exercise, and true lifestyle change. I’m so grateful. ❤️
