Loving + respecting life one critter at a time. And teaching her that not all bugs are icky. I just hopped off of a call with my magical unicorn of a mentor coach (coaches have coaches too, ya know ) and she reminded me how important it is for us to protect our energy.
Everything in this world is made of energy, and everything we do, see, and experience is an exchange of energy; if that exchange isn’t equal, we start to feel bad. That’s where resentment, burnout, comparison, and negativity are bred.
So I’m taking a lesson from my coach here and choosing to fiercely protect my supply — establishing boundaries, honoring my time, organizing my priorities, and creating my own sense of closure.
Mindset is a huge part of all of this, but physical space and energy are too. So, to tackle that piece I’m giving myself a little mini challenge. To get my space as tidy as my mind, me and a few other ladies will be doing a little spring cleaning challenge! — 6 days, 6 spaces, alllllllll the cleaning because winter has left our home a disaster and I’m ready for a change. I dig cleaning and all, but spring cleaning is a beast. So we’re breaking it down to a single space in a single room each day.
Baby steps, babe. I’m thinking/hoping we’re all in a similar boat around this time of year, so come join us! We’ll be working April 30-May 5 to clean things up a bit and really start protecting our energy — and when we’re finished we’ll celebrate with margaritas on Cinco de Mayo! Drop a below so I know you’re in!
