All humor aside (this is a brilliant video), this is no laughing matter. We already have weapons in outer space. However, the previous administration of Barack Obama did everything in its nefarious power to gut the US Military and Intelligence community. What President Ronald Reagan envisioned as the Strategic Defense Initiative (also known as "Star Wars") was halted by the administration of Bill Clinton.
In a very dynamic and evolving asymmetrical threat environment, the United States faces adversaries (China and Russia, but not limited to) which are aggressively pursuing advanced hypersonic missile capabilities. The United States must regain control of this arena and dominate in outer space with the development of new platforms which will safeguard this Nation (and the Free World) from threats, which include EMP and cyber.
The United States Air Force and Strategic Air Command must be rightly recognized as the progenitors of this unfolding Space Force.

Our last deployment was full of great experiences. I stayed a few nights on the USS Comstock (LSD) before flying back to my original ship the USS Somerset (LPD). During that deployment we traveled to Sri Lanka, Hawaii, Singapore, Africa, Oman, Kuwait, and Guam. Being a Marine on ship is pretty great, especially when the Navy didn’t care for our company ;)
