When I was a kid, me and my friends used to sell flowers on the street to earn some extra cash.
We felt excited about it, even though the flowers we used to sell were stolen.
I remember, we used to jump from one neighbor to another and steal the flowers from their gardens. Then we would jump over and run not to get caught.
We managed to do that for about a month until there were almost no flowers left. 😂
It was fun and exciting. After all, we were just kids and did not know what we were doing.
Approx 10 years later, my best friend and I started a remote design and development agency. It went well, and we have had a couple of clients, but after a year we could not maintain it, so we have decided to focus on other stuff and develop further.
It was a pleasant journey, but we did not know what we were doing.
After a while, we got this crazy idea to launch a web-based drinking game. We worked very hard on it, and surprisingly, the idea went very well.
The first day after the launch, we have had more than 400 active users. It was exciting, but not for a long time because, of course, we did not know what we were doing.
A couple of months ago, I published my first e-book that did not get much traction. I had a plan to start a health-related business if everything goes well.
Again, I didn’t know what I was doing.
What I am trying to say is that even if you don’t know what you are doing, and trust me, no one when starting something new does, read a lot about it and keep pushing forward.
The day when you know what you are doing will hopefully come. 😂
