This is where my Grandsons sleep and sometimes just hang out! It’s a cool little sleeping nook tucked into the wall. It’s the smallest guest room ever!
If you own a vacation home, you know how important extra sleeping areas can be when family and friends come to share experiences and make memories at Lake Michigan! Do you have spaces that pamper your guests? Even if it’s a small (but cozy) little space?
Finding small but significant ways to say WELCOME is always appreciated! A lightly scented candle, a small bouquet of flowers, bottles of water, a basket of essentials, extra towels, blankets and pillows, directions to access the internet, a reading light, and a place to keep luggage and put away their clothes (extra hangers please!) are just a few ideas to welcome your guests! After spending a few days with 3 young boys and a hubby in a stateroom during our Disney Cruise, I appreciated the small details that were meant to make us comfortable and keep us organized!
When we design and decorate for our clients, one of our favorite rooms to plan is the guest room. Taking a small room that often gets overlooked and making it cozy and welcoming is one of our specialties!
Is your home guest ready?
