Veggies on veggies on veggies!
The more I research plant- based foods the more I enjoy eating them! I feel as though we are COMPLETELY raised in this society to believe that "you need milk to make strong bones", and that we should "eat meat for the most protein", but in reality, you can get SO much protein from plant sources and you don't need to be drinking dairy after you are weaned off as a baby! It's so intriguing that the largest animals to walk the earth are elephants and gorillas—herbivores, and yet they feed on plants.
We live in world with a political agenda, and one that can lead us astray, in terms of the funding sources behind these meat and dairy industries. Marketing can be deceiving and allow us to feel good about our lifestyles and what we chose to purchase and consume!
I am just trying to bring a little light to the importance plant based sources, not that we weren't all raised knowing it was good to "eat your veggies!", but that in reality everything may not actually be good in moderation, and we may need a greater focus on certain food groups, and a lesser focus on others.
