“When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bonds; your mind transcends limitations; your conscious expands in every direction; and you find yourself in a great, new and wonderful world” - Patanjali
This quote illustrates perfectly what happens when you go vegan.
Living a life of compassion and nonviolence is inspired by our love of animals and our desire to see them all be free and treated as equals, and that is surely a great purpose.
When we make the connection, when our hearts burst open, all the programming that made us meat eaters is destroyed in the blink of an eye. Our thoughts break the bonds that hold us in the old way of seeing, and our minds transcend the limitations of the collective.
Fuelled by love, our consciousness expands in every direction, illuminating all that we see, think and feel. We find ourselves in a great, new and wonderful world
Ofcourse it can also be terrifying seeing clearly the pain and suffering of billions of our newfound family, but our new vision is the hope, the prerequisite of the changes that need to happen in order to end all that useless suffering.
As a vegan, the world becomes bigger because we see more of it. We see and feel all life, and that broadens our experience on this earth.
Think about this, as vegans we have literally billions of more opportunities to feel love. Every animal we see triggers our hearts
We see a future that exists in harmony. A future where humans and animals live in peace side by side. A future where we live from our hearts. This future is more than just a possibility. It’s already begun, there is an evolution of love enveloping humankind, the growth of veganism is evidence of that.
We must continue spreading love, being examples of the kind of people that will make up this future we see in our dreams.
If you’re reading this and by chance you’re not vegan, than I recommend giving vegan a try.
Show yourself existentially just how much greater, bigger and more wonderful the world becomes when you make the connection
