i know I'm def going to regret this later but here goes nothing...I have an eating disorder & its almost been a whole year now but its gotten to a point where I couldn't make myself eat more than I few pieces a fruit a day...I've developed a serve fear and anxiety of food & haven't had a real/proper meal in months...the worst part was I went through it alone. I let a number dictate my life & now I'm paying the price...all the photos I've posted are reposts from photos I took about a year ago & the reason I'm writing this is because today I took a big leap & was the first time I ate a meal in months, in fact I ate one of my biggest fear foods & feel super guilty rn...but despite that I'm going to keep pushing through my recovery. Just a PA to anyone struggling: you are loved & perfect just the way you are this year has been one the best & worst years of my life & I know I have a long road ahead of me #plantbased#vegan#edrecovery
SWIPE LEFT to see how I use to eat Versus What I eat now. Results don't lie. Alot of people ask me what do I eat as a plant based/Vegan Athlete. I was NEVER lean or had abs growing up. Mind you, I was extremely active (Basketball,Football, Track). Proper nutrition and experimenting with my body has lead me to be in the best shape I've ever been in my life. In the pic on the left I weighed 228 pounds at 17% body fat. In the right, 213 pounds 9 percent body fat.
---------------------------- I use to eat Eggs,Sausage, white breads, Chicken and broccoli everyday thinking I was the healthiest person alive and assuming I would be shredded. I had tendonitis in both knees and an excessive amount of mucus. Basically I got tired of being sick and tired . TRUTH IS you don't need a traditional boring diet to be lean and gain muscle. Just figure out what works best for YOU. And for me a plant based diet does my body the best. This lifestyle is amazing !

Today, I take control of my own life again. I am tired of waiting for people to help me. I am tired of waiting for people to care. I am tired of waiting for things to get easier. Today, I say a big stuff you to anyone who doesn’t have my back. Today, I am empowered. I am brave. I am excited. And I am better than all I have experienced this year. In 14 weeks from today, I will be a personal trained and I will be stronger than ever.
