Had a good conversation today with a good friend about criticism. When people hear the word most immediately attach a negative feeling to it. But, before you jump on the offense ask yourself these questions. 1- is it fair/warranted, 2- was is said with love?, 3- and is it helpful? Surround yourself with the people that tell you the hard truths, even when it's uncomfortable. This means they care enough to have the shitty conversation noone else wants to have. If the criticism is fair, true and said with love, use it to improve and grow. This applies to training, but it also applies to day to day life.
