This Sunday I’ll be attending a thanksLIVING potluck dinner where we will all be sharing delicious vegan food along with friends and new people that are open to veganism and want to know what cruelty free tastes like I thought I’d make some “Mac and cheese” test trials and the first time around it was okay but after some tweaks and tricks MAN OH MAN 🤯 we were convinced this was it and this was the recipe we are sticking to. This thanksgiving remember it’s about compassion if there is anything in dairy, meat, clothing (fur, wool, silk) that you can cut back on please do so there’s nothing more compassionate than taking action against these big industries who want to exploit animals as if their lives were truly theirs. I know I post a lot of food pictures but I really wanted to just take a minute and tell you the reason why I began this “food sharing” journey in the first place. Thank you all

I made this taco salad bowl for lunch today with some leftover vegan chili from a chili cook-off my boyfriend participated in and it was amazing! The chili is way fancier than anything I've ever made and it contains dark chocolate and even beer! I haven't actually had any alcohol in over 3 years now, but I'm pretty sure this doesn't count as most of the alcohol was likely boiled away I added rice cooked in veggie broth, corn, purple cabbage, romaine lettuce, avocado with hemp seeds, green onions, salsa, and a homemade cashew sour cream
