The most important thing I’ve learned about simplicity is that simplicity wins in the long run. Simple is stickier than complexity, and it survives. " Life is not complex. We are complex. Life is simple, and the simple thing is the right thing.” — Oscar Wilde. We tend to complicate every area of our lives with attempting to live up to the expectations of the world through media. I have a fond memory of my childhood of playing out doors and enjoying long drives. My creative juices were flowing from such a young age and that made me happy. Nature and reading books that i can turn with my fingers made me happy. We have created amazing technology to help alleviate those "stressors" they call it from everyday living. But the truth is ,are we ? We try to live up to these ideologies of the present, you know those that tell us how we should live our lives, what we should have in our lives and basically who we should be in our lives to be happy and yet we see areas of our lives(our relationships, career, finances...) fail before our eyes when we decide to follow those advices. And we ask ourselves why?
This year i really honed my simplicity skill. Minimalism allowed me to declutter my life and fill it with things i need and appreciate in my life. I want to fill my life with experiences over "stuff", with love and communication in my relationships, with understanding of the world through research and learning because as I've learned through minimalism , " Love people , use things because the opposite never works." #lovepeopleusethings #minimalist #minimalism #loveconquersall #bealeader #simplethings #simplicity #experiencesoverthings #declutter #vegan #veganliving
