I loveeeee hummus & falafel. All day every day. I have a great, simple hummus recipe that I've been using for years, but I've never found a falafel recipe that I really, really like & that can replace greasy, fried (heavenly) restaurant falafel. Until now! 1 ripe and 1 frozen ripe banana
1 serving of hemp protein
1 tsp of alcohol free vanilla
2 medjool dates
1/2 the meat of one young coconut
1 cup coconut water (you can add more if you want a thinner consistency)

This smoothie is so tasty you'll feel like you're eating a treat 😋

Ingredients -

1 cup wholemeal self-raising flour
2 large ripe mashed bananas
Enough almond milk to make the mixture fairly runny
Pinch of cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla essence

Method -

Mash bananas in a large bowl with a fork.
Add remaining ingredients and mix with wooden spoon.
Fry pancakes on a low heat with some coconut oil.
Top with fruit, chocolate, coconut yoghurt – the possibilities are endless!

▶️Tambahkan sedikit air beri garam ,gula masukkan buncis aduk rata. Koreksi rasa.
▶️ Terakhir sebelum di angkat ,masukkan toge aduk sebentar lalu angkat.
Sajikan selagi hangat bersama nasi .

TANDOORI give me MOREY 😜 Eggplant skewers ‼️🌱 FOLLOW us @veganfoodbible
RECIPE-

Ingredients-

3 eggplants, cut into 3cm pieces
1 tbs malt vinegar
250g thick Greek-style yoghurt
2 tbs tomato paste
1 tbs grated ginger
1 tsp sweet smoked paprika (pimenton)
1 tsp ground turmeric
1 tsp garam masala (Indian spice mix)
11/2 tbs mustard oil
1 red onion, sliced
1/3 cup (80ml) white wine vinegar
1 tsp caster sugar
Mint leaves and lime wedges, to serve

Method -

Combine eggplant with 2 tbs salt in a bowl. Set aside for 11/2 hours. Rinse and dry well with paper towel. Thread onto skewers.
2 Preheat oven to 200°C. Combine malt vinegar, yoghurt, tomato paste, spices and oil in a bowl. Brush skewers, then place skewers on a baking-paper lined baking tray. Roast, basting and turning skewers occasionally, for 30 minutes or until tender
3 Increase heat to 250°C and cook for a further 5 minutes or until charred.
4 Combine the onion, white vinegar, sugar and 1 tsp salt in a bowl. Set aside for 10 minutes to pickle.
5 Serve eggplant skewers with pickled onion, mint and lime to squeeze over.

What is your favorite mushroom dish?

Here's a quick way of cooking a delicious sliced crimini mushrooms, commonly known as brown button mushrooms dish.
What you need:
12 oz sliced crimini mushrooms
1 to 2 T grapeseed oil
1 clove of chopped garlic
1 T Marsala wine
1/2 t Italian herbs
Salt and pepper to taste

Heat grapeseed oil on medium heat, add garlic, and cook till lightly brown. Next add sliced mushrooms and cook till soft. Add the rest of the ingredients and cook till liquid is absorbed and mushrooms are lightly brown. Best served with rice or quinoa and garnish them with parsley.

Having trouble finding the perfect vegan dessert that will please everyone? Look no further.. Cookies and Cream Cookies are here to save the day!

For these amazing little treats, you’ll need:
1 vanilla cake mix (vegan cake mix does exist)
1/2 cup butter, softened @earthbalance
2 tbsp aquafaba
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup cream cheese @daiyafoods
2 cups Oreo cookie chunks
1/2 cup chocolate chips @enjoylifefoods
Directions:
1. Mix cake mix, butter, aquafaba, vanilla and cream cheese until smooth
2. Mix in by hand Oreo chunks and chocolate chips
3. Refrigerate for 30 mins
4. While chilling, preheat oven to 350 degrees
5. Roll cookies into a ball and bake for 10 minutes.. the original recipe says to not over bake but I found 13-15 minutes worked better depending on cookie size

This looks a little fancy but it’s rather simple! Sprouted spelt toast with macadamia feta, avocado, leftover sweet potato wedges, homegrown rocket and cress topped off with roasted garlic flakes, hemp seeds and cornflower. I never thought I’d see the day my cornflowers would eventually bloom but they were the sunshine to my day when I found them in all their glory 💖

My new phone does the best pictures 😍Can you tell I’m addicted to these 😁 I don’t know who invented the smoothie bowl but this is such a good idea. So let’s talk about that HIGH CARBS LOW FAT « diet ». Here’s the split of my macros. Main category is CARBS: mostly fruits (blueberries, mango, banana and raspberries) with a little bit of sprouted buckwheat. Then I have PROTEIN, I added 1.5 tablespoon of organic sprouted brown rice protein which contains around 10g of proteins. Buckwheat also contains a good amount of protein but I didn’t use a lot here. And finally, my source of healthy FAT is very low here, it contains only some shredded coconut. This will digest really easily, it’s a light meal, it will give me a good amount of energy and most important, it contains A LOT of FIBERS which we don’t find in animal products and which is best known as the MOST PROTECTIVE against hearth disease 💚 FIBERS is one of the first thing I check when buying packaged food. I FEEL very very GOOD when I eat food like this and it’s perfect when I want to lose weight 😍

Accro au smoothie bol ça se peut? 😂 Je ne sais pas qui les as inventé mais quelle bonne idée!! Voilà un aperçu de ce que mon bol contient. La majeure partie ce sont des GLUCIDES: bleuets, bananes, mangues, framboises et un peu de sarrasin germé (les graines de couleurs). Pour les PROTÉINES j’ai ajouté un supplément, 1.5 c. à soupe de protéines de riz brun germé qui me donne environ 10g. Le sarrasin en contient également beaucoup mais j’ai seulement mis une très petite quantité. Finalement, pour les LIPIDES, j’ai mis de la noix de coco séchée. Ce repas est très léger, facile à digérer, me donnera beaucoup d’énergie et surtout, il contient beaucoup de fibres. Je me sens vraiment bien quand je mange ce genre de repas et ça m’aide lorsque je veux perdre quelques livres prises en trop 💚😍

RECIPE-

Ingredients-

1.5kg kipfler potatoes, halved if large
1 garlic bulb, cloves separated, unpeeled
10 eschalots, halved
1/3 cup (80ml) olive oil
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
3 rosemary sprigs

Method -

Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2 Toss the potatoes, garlic and eschalot in a bowl with the oil and balsamic vinegar. Season and arrange in a single layer on a baking tray. Scatter with rosemary and roast, turning twice, for 45-50 minutes until crispy, golden and cooked through. Serve warm.

Ingredients -

11/3 cups (270g) freekeh
2 lemons, halved
1/2 cup (125ml) extra virgin olive oil, plus extra to brush
1 bunch flat-leaf parsley leaves, chopped
500g baby heirloom tomatoes, halved
1 red onion, finely chopped
1 tbs red wine vinegar

Method -

Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil over medium heat. Add freekeh and cook for 30 minutes or until tender. Drain freekeh and set aside to cool.
2 Meanwhile, heat a chargrill pan or barbecue to high heat. Brush cut side of lemons with oil. Cook lemons, cut-side down, for 2 minutes or until charred.
3 Place freekeh in a bowl with parsley, tomato, onion, vinegar, oil and juice from charred lemons. Season and toss to serve.

Rubber DUB dub thanks for the grub 🤙👅 Lentil & cauliflower PILAF💚

RECIPE-

Ingredients-

2 teaspoons canola oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/2 (about 450g) cauliflower, cut into florets
1 1/4 cups (250g) basmati rice
2 tablespoons mild Indian curry paste (such as korma)
3 cups (750ml) vegetable stock
2 bay leaves
1 cinnamon quill
400g can lentils, drained, rinsed
2 tablespoons finely chopped coriander leaves
Mango chutney, to serve (optional)

Method-

Heat oil in a large frypan over medium heat. Add onion and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the cauliflower and rice and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.
2 Add curry paste and cook for a further minute. Add stock, bay leaves and cinnamon, then bring to the boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 15 minutes until rice is cooked and all liquid has been absorbed. Fluff rice with a fork, stir in lentils and heat through for 1 minute. Sprinkle over coriander, and serve with chutney, if desired.

Gourmet 🍃‼️VEGAN lentil sweet potato CHICK pea stew 🙌

RECIPE -

Ingredients-

¼ cup extra virgin olive oil, plus extra for drizzling
3 French shallots, thinly sliced
1 tbsp finely chopped rosemary sprigs
1 medium sweet potato, chopped into 3cm pieces
1 cup French green lentils
750ml vegetable stock
1 tin of chickpeas, well-drained and rinsed
baby spinach, to serve

Method-

Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the shallots and rosemary sprigs and cook for around 3–4 minutes to soften. Add the sweet potato and cook for a further minute. Add the lentils, the stock and enough water to submerge the vegetables by 3–4 cm.
2 Simmer on medium-low heat for around 35–40 minutes or until the sweet potato is soft and the lentils are cooked. Add the chickpeas in the last 10 minutes. Season to taste.
3 Transfer to a large serving bowl and top with plenty of baby spinach and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Serves 6.

Infamous KRABBY patty 😁🙏🏼 FOLLOW Us @veganfoodbible
RECIPE-

Ingredients-

Patty-

2 tbs of olive oil
1/4 cup of minced red bell pepper
1/4 cup of minced yellow onion
1 1/4 cup of chikpeas
1 14 oz package of hearts of palm
2 tbs of ground walnuts
2 tbs of vegan mayo
2 tsp of stone ground mustard
1 tbs of dill
1/4 tsp of pink himalayan salt
1/4 tsp of black pepper
Sprinkle of cayenne

Toppings-

Whole wheat buns
Baby arugula
Sliced vine ripe tomatoes
Sliced red onion
Sauce of choice
Baby dill pickles

Method -

In a pan on medium heat add olive oil, red bell pepper, and yellow onion. Cook for 5 minutes. In the meantime mash all chikpeas and add to pan. Cook for another 5 minutes and set aside.
In a bowl squish all hearts of palm until crab like meat starts to form. Once all are squished combine with chikpea mixture.
Preheat oven to 375°. Add remaining ingredients into patty mixture and knead until all ingredients are well combined.
Form mixture into desired sized patties and place in oven for 10 minutes each side. Once time is up remove from oven and allow 5 minutes to cool.
In a pan on medium heat add patties and cook for 3 minutes each side. Once ready place patties on buns along with toppings. Use sauce of choice (we used a remoulade sauce) and enjoy.

Kimchi pasta for supper this evening. Sautéed red onion, garlic, celery, fresh tomatoes, soya sauce, frozen peas, whole cumins, fresh basil & parsley, extra virgin olive oil & pepper When the sauce is cooked, I stirred a tbsp kimchi into the it then mopped the pasta in the sauce. Used whatever I got hold of in the kitchen!
