This darn thistle is about all I have growing right now. Without going into details, a week ago my garden was completely destroyed overnight. I literally cried for two days straight. So much work, time, and money spent, and it was all for nothing. All the plans for our self-sufficiency starting this year went down the drain. I'm thinking about planting a fall garden, but we'll see. I'm having trouble finding the motivation, honestly. So please, keep sharing your garden and harvest pictures! You all are amazing and inspiring! I'm living vicariously through all of you!!
It is a beautiful monday morning I have been awake since 3 am and my son has woken up at 6.15 am without any alarm clock. I love being super oganised so I have already made a tasty lentil caserole served with baked sweet potato which i will mash with fresh herbs later. The flowers and vegetables have been watered before the sun is too hot. Just now making my son’s wholemeal pasta and sauce lunch for school as Mondays and Thursday he eats a lunch that I make for him to take to school. He eats so much healthy home cooked food lots of broccolli, sweetcorn,wholemeal pasta, served with sauce made with lots of vegetables soups that I make with lots of vegetables, I do all his food, carb count it and then go in to do his insulin injection, handover and snack. I have also planned all the meals for the week for my son. Then I have a busy morning of doing my accounts, planning the next lot of photo shoots & uploading more images to sell. Hoping to dedicate three hours sometime this week to planning more charity fundraising. Have a wonderful day x Jenny

TUMIS KECIPIR TERASI
200gr kecipir potong 1.5 cm
3 butir bawang merah iris
2 butir bawang putih iris
1 buah tomat iris
5 cabe rawit merah iris serong
1 blok terasi goreng
Garam dan gula
1. Tumis duo bawang, tomat , rawit dan terasi. Semuanya sampai layu.
2. Masukan kecipir, beri air, gula dan garam. Aduk rata. Koreksi rasa.
3. Masak sampai matang

I do love my sweet treats & I know I can’t give them up totally so I made this little treat last night swapped the usual bag of Cadbury’s chocolate for a dessert of homemade meringue, greek yogurt, raspberries. blueberries & a dusting of dark chocolate.
Taking responsibility for my eating. will help towards my challenge of being fit & healthy at 50!
