Summer Vegetable Tomato Soap
My garden continues to produce more zucchini, basil, tomatoes, red bell peppers, and green beans… and I need a quick and easy recipe to use these wonderful ingredients. I decided to make a Summer Vegetable Tomato Soap. Absolute delicious and SUPER healthy! And what I love the most is that it is very easy to make! Recipe below.
2 cups green beans, chopped
2 cups corn
2-3 zucchini, chopped
3 (28 oz) can tomatoes, crushed
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
3 scallions (green onions), chopped
2 red bell peppers, chopped
½ cup basil leaves
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp garlic powder
½ tbsp onion powder
2 cups water (add more water if needed)
Salt/pepper to taste
1 1/2 cups pasta shells
1. Add all ingredients to big deep pot (except for the pasta shells). Mix well. Let boil then lower heat to medium heat (to a shimmer) and cook for ~25 minutes. Mix periodically.
2. Add pasta shells to the same pot and cook for another 15 minutes (until pasta cooked). Mix periodically.
