Daniel had been caring for his grandmother Maureen in their family home for many years with assistance from Melville Cares. Unfortunately Maureen passed away a couple of months ago.
Daniel came into the office the other day with a lovely bouquet of flowers for the Coordinator Lis and a card for the Support Workers who had been there for them both during this difficult time.
Daniel would now like to pursue a career in aged care and is going to start as a volunteer with Melville Cares. Daniel is also going to enrol at TAFE to study for his qualifications in Aged Care with the ambition to be employed at Melville Cares as a Support Worker.
What goes around comes around, we look forward to welcoming you to the Melville Cares team Daniel! . . . #melvillecares#volunteers
