A lot of you that are trying to gain muscle keep doing this “dirty bulk” bullshit, BEFORE you slowly add calories and increase workload. .
Your first step should be to increase protein and calories ON A SMALL SCALE. If you put on 6 lbs of muscle and 14 lbs of fat, have fun now having to cut again to get that bf% back down. .
Piling calories on top of calories does not increase your recovery or speed up muscle growth, it just adds body fat. .
If your goal is to increase muscle mass, slowly increase calories as your ramp up the intensity. Aim to gain 1-2 lbs a week, not 30 lbs in a month. .
Remember whether gaining or losing weight, the goal is to do it in the healthiest and most sustainable way possible.
