Tonight, I’ve never been more proud to be a Viking. I’m thankful for all the opportunities that North has given me. I’m thankful for everyone who pushed me to be my best even when I felt worthless; for those who seen my potential even when I didn’t see it myself. I’m most thankful for God because without Him, I wouldn’t be here today. I’m thankful for my family, my friends, as well as anyone who has believed in me and pushed me to be my best.
Tonight, I received enough in scholarships to pay at least the first year and a half of college in full. I’m incredibly thankful for those who didn’t even know me, yet they felt I was worthy enough for a scholarship. I am especially thankful for Mr. Miller because without him I wouldn’t have gotten a single scholarship. Mr. Miller was always willing to take time to help me and he always knew what to say when I was so stressed I couldn’t breathe.
Never let anyone tell you that your dreams are too big, I’m living proof that anything is possible.
As my years as a Viking are coming to a close, I can’t help but to be sad because my time at the place I called home for four years is over, yet I’m so excited to take on the next four years as a Bear to pursue a career in nursing. #seniorszn #vikingforever
