Hello! So I realized, I have yet to really introduce myself on here. (And there are quite a few newbies around these parts so it’s about time—hi new friends, welcome and thanks for being here!) The name’s Amanda and I am a weight neutral nutrition therapist living in Bloomington, IN with my husband and corg-babe (who I am obsessed with-if you managed to miss that). I recently opened my private practice, Wholehearted Nutrition, and offer my services both locally and virtually. Now that you know the nitty gritty details about me, here are five fun facts: (1) I’m an introvert through and through, but I love meeting and talking to new people(and my old peeps too)! Deep conversations and listening to other’s stories is my jam. (2) My siblings are my best friends. I am the oldest of three, yet the shortest of us all. I’m 5’4” on a good day and my baby brother is well over 6’. I’m only a little bitter about it. (3) I love to make lists. Grocery, packing, to do, pro/con... I could continue to make a list of the lists I like to list but I will stop before I get too carried away. (4) Doughnuts are the epitome of food freedom to me because for the longest time it was a food I was very proud of restricting. Now whenever I want a donut, I eat a damn donut (Blueberry cake is my absolute favorite). (5) I am an avid reader and take a book wherever I go. I have more books unread than read on my bookshelves but will gladly take any and all recommendations you have to grow my library. (Current reads: Intuitive Eating for a book club, Woman Warrior, The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo, and Hardwiring Happiness)
