Australia really does have a vast landscape, and Minnamurra is no exception. Situated along the Illawarra coastline this headland is truly something unique. Standing on the edge looking down at the shear drop is not for the faint hearted and for me it is a place I like to be. None of this standing back and zooming in, I tend to feel the emotion of the location if I’m there with it.
There is a plethora of photographs from Minnamurra and rightly so, although I’d be hard pressed to find an image like this on any platform. There was a strong sea mist, clouds to the horizon and even light, these conditions mixed with a 4-minute exposure and some detail extraction, you end up with a one of a kind photographs, like this.
One must break away from the norm to truly grasp their own reality otherwise you will end up apart of the heard.
